Voters will consider a bond proposal that would initiate a modernization of our school buildings

If approved, the proposal would provide $117 million at *no tax increase for voters for a series of district-wide infrastructure updates to address capacity, efficiency, and community resources.

No tax rate increase expected over the current rate.

This is Phase 1 of a multi-phase master plan to optimize district assets over the next 15-20 years.

NEW ELEMENTARY
The proposed Upper Elementary building would relocate traditional 5th–6th graders to the central campus to provide more age-appropriate learning and social opportunities, 30 elementary classrooms for district programs, and centralized access to arts and athletics facilities.

A larger and modernized cafeteria 
to be more than just a place to eat, a place that can be used all day as spaces for large-group instruction and events 

Co-located administration and counseling services
 to share functional resources, increasing efficiency, collaboration, and security

NEW UPPER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 

Space created for 5th & 6th graders 
that better accommodates the needs of these ages and creates additional space in existing elementary buildings 

Modernized learning environments 
to increase collaboration and flexibility in the classrooms and begin a phased approach to learning spaces throughout the district 

Central access to district programs 
that consolidates time and space to offer 5th & 6th graders opportunities at the Junior High and High School

MAINTENANCE AND TRANSPORTATION RELOCATION 

Consolidation of resources 
through a shared maintenance & transportation hub 

Optimizing campus space 
by moving the maintenance facility off-campus and allowing easier access to centralized athletics

REPLACING AGING COMMUNITY-USE INFRASTRUCTURE 

New, relocated tennis courts 
to improve the safety and playability of the heavily used, cracking surfaces of the current courts and to centralize campus athletics 

Pickleball capability
on some of the courts which will be striped for pickleball
 
New Junior High soccer practice field
to improve efficiency of space usage on campus and upgrade playability

LONG-TERM PLANNING
This bond would be the first step of a long-term master plan to renovate the district learning spaces over the next 15-20 years.
