Statement of Disclosure

The American Counseling Association and the American School counselor Association endorse a code of ethics for counselors which includes confidentiality of the counselor/counselee relationship.  The school counselors respect the rights and responsibilities of parents for their children and try to establish a cooperative relationship with parents in the best interest of their children. Michigan law requires counselors to report to the appropriate parties (1) suspicion of child abuse or neglect and (2) indications that the student may be a danger to himself or others.
Click on the link above to order transcripts through Parchment.  Please note: current seniors may send transcripts for free; after graduation, there will be a $3.25 fee for each transcript requested.

For seniors applying to schools through the Common App, your transcripts will be uploaded directly into your Common App once you have entered counselor information.

Jenison juniors take the PSAT at school during the fall and the SAT at school during the spring.  If a student chooses to re-take the SAT or to take the ACT, they are responsible for registering for the test through College Board.

Jenison High School provides preparatory opportunities for the SAT test.  Another excellent resource to prepare for the SAT is Khan Academy.
