This morning we celebrated the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams with a special sendoff to states! Last weekend the boys team won the regional title and the girls team came in second at regionals. During the sendoff, a recent cross country member gave a special motivational speech for both teams, before they walked through a tunnel of cheering students, staff, and parents. Good luck at states, Boys and Girls Cross Country!

Jenison Junior High hosted its annual Intergenerational Interview Day and the guests were amazing! Principals, board members, admin staff, and so many other incredible community members have come in and answered questions from the students. The event, part of the journalism unit, helps students connect with people outside their immediate circles. They will eventually pick one individual they interviewed and write a feature story on them. Love this tradition Jenison Junior High!
