Jenison Public Schools is pleased to announce that Jen Postema has been named Interim Manager of the Jenison Center for the Arts (JCA).
Postema brings a deep connection to the district and its performing arts programs, having spent more than a decade volunteering and supporting productions across Jenison Public Schools. Her commitment, energy, and passion have made her a familiar and valued presence at the JCA.
She will step into this interim role following the retirement of longtime JCA Manager Brian Bennink in June. The district is grateful for Bennink’s years of leadership and service, and looks forward to Postema continuing the strong tradition of excellence at the JCA during this transition.
Due to her new role within the district, Postemal resigned from her position on the Jenison Public Schools Board of Education, where she has served for 11 years. The district extends its sincere appreciation for her dedication, leadership, and the many contributions she has made in support of students, staff, and the Jenison community.
In accordance with board policy, the Board of Education will begin the process to fill the vacant board position within 30 days.
Jenison Public Schools remains grateful for Postema’s continued service and looks forward to her leadership in this new role at the Jenison Center for the Arts.
