This year's Pink Out brought together thousands of community members to recognize those taken by cancer, those battling cancer and those who have survived cancer.
The ceremony in between the girls and boys basketball games honored those individuals, passing out roses and special Pink Out jerseys. The crowd then gave them a rousing standing ovation at the end.
It also was announced that the Senior Survivor competition at the high school last week raised $26,954 for the Pink Out organization. Those students presented a huge check to representatives of Pink Out at half court.
