STEAM Tech (ST) is an innovative and specialized K-6 program with a project-based, student-centered philosophy. STEAM Tech focuses on the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics. All important learning standards are addressed but in a way that engages and motivates students through hands-on learning.
Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is a national science and engineering curriculum taught online and through face-to-face project days at STEAM Tech.
Hands On Learning
Students will develop their creativity, independence, design skills, and problem solving by participating in Community Partnerships, Lego Robotics, and computer coding.
Project Based Learning
PBL is an approach to learning that presents problems or authentic questions students must learn valuable learning standards to solve or answer.
Students are able to explore the arts (visual, music and other fine arts) each week through community partners.
Balanced School Calendar
A balanced calendar schedule provides days off throughout the school year, while shortening the length of time in the summer to provide greater access to learning and reduce student learning loss. Follow the link below to see the calendar for the upcoming school year.
