Every year during a night of high school basketball, hundreds of supporters gather at Jenison High School’s Kamstra Gymnasium, wearing pink "PINK OUT" T-shirts to celebrate cancer survivors and show support to those currently fighting the disease. The sale of these T-shirts is the primary fundraiser for the event, with all proceeds benefiting families affected by cancer through the PINK OUT organization.

A special program between the girl’s and the boy’s varsity basketball game highlights the journey of cancer survivors and current cancer patients, encouraging them to keep fighting. 

The event is made possible by the generous efforts of community volunteers, district employees, student organizers and Jenison Pink Out.
