Who We Are
We are Pinewood parents working together toward a common goal - to create a better school and a better education experience for our children. We are welcoming and friendly. We are your neighbors, and we share many of the same concerns you do.
What We Do
We enhance the school community by organizing and running family events such as Fun Night. We encourage unity and school spirit by sponsoring and running Track & Field Day and Spirit Week. We aid teachers by fulfilling their classroom requests and aid the school by purchasing equipment and supplies not funded by the general budget.
Why We Do It
To support the education of our children. To develop a closer relationship among the school, parents, and teachers. To create an atmosphere where teachers and administrators can do their best work - and so can our children. To support student activities/student enrichment.

What We Do With The Money :
Student/School Enrichment
- Assemblies, Birthday Treats, Field Trips, MEAP snacks, Spirit Week, Recess Leaders, Room Party Supplies, Safety Patrol, Science Kits, 6th Grade Camp, 6th Grade Models, 6th Grade Graduation, Track & Field Day Lunch and Activities.
Family Events
- Family Nights, August Open House, Pirate Bowling, Princess Dance
Teachers
- Classroom start up funds, Teacher Appreciation Week
Misc
- Hospitality, Student Incentives, Office Supplies, Postage, Taxes, etc.
Teacher/School Purchase Requests
- Needs of teachers or the school which are not funded under the general budget.
