New Jenison School Spirit Store Opens
A new satellite school store for Jenison Public Schools has recently opened at the location of Image Builders Marketing, Inc. 726 Chicago Drive Jenison, MI 49428. This extension of the "Cats Corner" at Jenison High School is called the "Cats Den" and is open from 9 am-5 pm, Monday - Friday.
The satellite store was opened by DECA officers Casey Block and Beau Groendyk as a project to provide community members and parents easier access to Jenison Spiritwear. With clothing items ranging from 2T - XXL and spirit items including umbrellas, flags and pom poms parents, students and community members will find something for everyone.
Image Builders is owned by Jenison graduate Craig Natte and provides custom screen printing and embroidery for many local organizations, schools, and companies. For years, Image Builders has been helping companies grow their business by offering a wide range of marketing services. From promotional campaigns to apparel programs, fulfillment services to screen printing, Image Builders has the capabilities and experience that will help Jenison Public Schools to grow their school store and allow marketing students to put their classroom learning into practice.
The original store, Cat's Corner, is still open inside the high school from 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for those wishing to make their purchases at the high school.

The JHS Math & Computer Science Department, in cooperation with the Jenison Junior High Math Department, has aligned our course offerings with the new Michigan High School Content Expectations (HSCE''s) as well as the 8th Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCE''s). The new Michigan graduation requirements affect our current 11th grade students. The requirements for mathematics are available for viewing at this link .

100 BEST COMMUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION AWARD
For the fifth year in a row, Jenison Public Schools has been selected as one of the 100 BEST COMMUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION . Jenison joins Anchor Bay Public Schools, Ann Arbor Public Schools, and Waterford Public Schools as the only Michigan schools to be selected for this prestigious award. Congratulations to the students and staff of Jenison Public Schools.
